A recent software update to the PSP apparently didn’t satisfy the creative minds at Sony. They are now working to create more features for the PSP, including the introduction of a camera.
SCE software platform development boss Izuma Kawanishi recently spoke to Japanese game magazine Famitsu about the further plans for the handheld.
"We’re currently considering (the implementation of an e-mail system), but we want to think over the funamental concept behind e-mail," he explained. "We think it would be great if people could communicate together with the use of video and voice."
Sony also plans to introduce support to allow users to watch movies without saving them to the Memory Stick. Digital Rights Management technology would allow for pay content to be used on the system.
