A sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors is scheduled to be released during the fourth quarter in Japan, writes Shonen Jump. Bandai released Supersonic Warriors for the Game Boy Advance, but has chosen to release the sequel on the DS.
The sequel, named Dragon Ball Z: Bukuu Ressen is a fighting game that assigns each character a different "dragon power" that ranges from one to seven on strength. The player organizes a team of up to three characters with a certain number of dragon powers. There will be sixteen characters to choose from. The top screen of the DS will be used for combat and the bottom screen will show pictures of the characters in order to call them into battle.
