Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is really shaking things up for the series. This time, the series is dropping season passes, exclusive content. Instead, everyone gets everything at once. Also, its battle pass will include all sorts of free items. As Activision noted, this is “the biggest free content drop in Call of Duty history.” It will roll out on December 3, 2019, though the company did acknowledge that a slight delay could happen at launch.
People already have an idea of what will be a part of this free Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season one content drop. A lot of these new additions will be maps. Multiplayer will get three: Crash, Shipment, and Vacant. Each one of them originally appeared in the first Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and Shipment will also be a Gunfight map. The two new 2v2 Gunfight maps that will be immediately available are Atrium and Cargo, though more will appear during Modern Warfare season one. Finally, Port will be a Ground War map.
But people won’t only get maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season one. Lots of other items will appear. The Holger-26 LMG rifle and Ram-7 assault rifle will both be added to the game. The Infected mode will force you to try and survive. The Reinforce mode is a Dom and S&D mode focused about controlling three flags while preserving your only life. On Site Procurement will be a Gunfight mode with no equipment but your fists at the start. More modes will show up eventually, though. Not to mention Bomb Squad, Grounded, Just Reward, and Pitch Black Special Ops Experiences will appear, with more showing up later.
This is only the start of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare season one rollout. More information will be provided when it arrives on December 3, 2019. For example, that’s when the 100 tier battle pass for this season will be fully revealed. Basically, people should make time to play next month.
